DURATION: 12 MONTHS +

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a PMO Analyst/Junior Project Manager who is a go getter/driver in ambiguous situations. Needs to be able to hit the ground running in a non structured non process oriented environment. Needs to be well versed with Excel, and been involved in an M&A (mergers and acquisition), restructure or reorg project. You will work alongside Senior PM's, Directors and C Level managers.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 5+ YEARS AS AN IT PROJECT COORDINATOR/PMO ANALYST/JUNIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER
- MERGER & ACQUISITIONS EXPERIENCE
- ADVANCED MICROSOFT OFFICE SKILLS TO INCLUDE EXCEL, PROJECT, VISIO AND POWERPOINT
- Post schedules, log meeting minutes, capture notes/rewrite notes
- whiteboard in brainstorming meetings
- CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND RISK MANAGEMENT
- Project Management
- Excellent presentation skills

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

- Creating project artifacts (ie project charter, project plans, issues and/or risks documentation, etc.)
- Assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project, communicating project status and issues to team and management, acting to reduce risk and resolve issues.
- They will also coordinate with other projects and work groups.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist Project Managers in the administration/coordination of a project or may have responsibility over a smaller scale project or project area.
- Track project information, follow up on issue status, resolve routine issues, report status to management
- Gather information, prepare and maintain on-going reports for management
- Prepare project plans
- Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- Prepare and send communications to a wide range of team members.
- Write draft level functional specs or gather information/requirements for specs.
- Facilitate status meetings.
- Works under general guidelines with little direction.
- Actively contributes to the results of a team and works towards achieving team goals and objectives.
- Follows departmental processes and procedures and may make recommendations to these processes
- May be the central point of departmental information and procedures
- Monitor, advocate and adhere to release, change and build management processes.
