PMC Technician Job

PMC TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Sunnyvale, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- ERP/SAP knowledge
- PMC (Preventive Maintenance & Calibration)
- Medical Device experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Maintains PMC database and generates monthly PM and Calibration reports.
- Issues asset numbers for new or duplicate tooling/fixturing.
- Maintains calibration certs and user manuals
- Approves ECOs that release new fixturing/tooling and ensures that proper documentation has been included with the ECO
- Assists with fixture qualification and validation
- Responsible for ECO implementation in regards to fixturing (ie taking obsolete fixturing out of service)
- Administers review meetings for fixtures/tooling found to be out of specification and maintains quality records from these meetings
- Oversees and tracks status of PM and Cal by outside vendors (ie Simco)
- Performs all appropriately documented in-house PM and Cal
- Develops and maintains spare parts inventory
- Develops and maintains replicate fixture/tooling list
- Performs periodic audits to ensure that PMC database is up to date and that PMC is being completed on schedule
- Interfacing on a daily basis with various departments to provide status of PMCC items and to seek closure on those items.
- Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Field Service, and Materials to identify priorities and resolve open issues.
- Assure that all Calibrationsfive years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. There is a two (2) year degree minimum, however, a BS in Engineering or related field or four (4) years work experience is preferred.
- Requires an understanding of Quality Control, Inspection, Metrology, PMC.
- Previous work experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Inspection/Metrology or as a Coordinator for a highly complex, low volume OEM manufacturer is desirable.
- Knowledge of GMP and previous work experience in a medi cal company are a plus.
- Requires understanding of ERP Information Systems, preferably SAP.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
