PM57927 - Senior Business/Financial Analyst

- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in General Ledger and knowledge of financial statement presentation
- Proficiency in using PC applications (Word, Powerpoint)
- Advance Excel knowledge required
- Performs financial reporting which may include forecasting, trending and results analysis
- Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with GAAP
- Interprets financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions
- Collect and study data to determine costs of business activities
- May recommend budget adjustments, and cost improvement measures
- Ability to perform moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various financial systems
- Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- 5-10 years of related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of various software applications, such as relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate data reports
- Must be well organized, detailed and excellent problem solver
- Ability to oversee multiple workstreams and meet deadlines. Willingness to work in a team environment, and in a proactive manner
- Ability to reconcile and analyze accounts
- Must have the ability to multi-task, document clearly and efficiently, and is comfortable working in a fast pace environment
