An exciting management opportunity has arisen with one of the Australia's leading financial institutions. Our client holds a strong domestic presence and some of the most complex IT systems in Australia to provide a wide range of financial services. Now due to IT enablement growth they are seeking an IT integration manager/data migration and change manager to ensure process conformity and rationalistaion for IT project changes to maintain the stability of the environment is kept at its optimum status.

Working as part of a larger IT team the service transition group is responsible for evaluating the entire technology environment and then installing, maintaining and enhancing the service transition process for organization wide systems. The team interacts with multiple IT teams both internal and external to understand the inter-dependant relationships of systems to ensure that through process control is observed in an efficient manner to allow for fluid change of systems without compromising on environment stability and resilience.

The role of the manager is to lead the local team and be the face of the unit to internal customers. You will help scope and define best practice for process structures and be the point of escalation on more complex issues/change requests. To do this you will have clear and harmonious integration with the banks' SDLC, Risk, Change and Release Management processes. Your ultimate goal is to safeguard the IT Services team from changes that may impact its environment from an operational perspective.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- Have managed $5m + integration projects previously.
- To provide transparent integration with the banks' SDLC, Risk, Change and Release Management processes
- Governance of operational readiness and IT at an enterprise-wide level, representing all operational needs in a streamlined manner (ie dynamic checklist)

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 5 years+ experience in IT Change Management/Transition Management
- Strong holistic understanding of IT in LARGE COMPLEX environments eg Finance.
- Experience managing/leading teams of change managers/process analysts/service transition consultants
- Exceptional organization skills across multiple projects
- Highly structured approach to your working day
- Understanding/experience with the ITIL Framework
- Project Management accreditation and experience
- Experience in delivery or governance of IT Service Management Capabilities
