PLM Consultant - Cost Management

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO RECRUIT A PLM CONSULTANT TO BE PART OF A TEAM RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTERPRISE PRODUCT COST MANAGEMENT AS PART OF OUR CONTINUED GROWTH

The Role

Provide project management and project technical delivery for a business improvement team responsible for enterprise product cost management, using Enovia PLM as the core technology platform for item, BoM and feature management, tightly integrated with SAP for access to financial data.

Work closely with other project teams in the Bill of Items and Product Definition areas to support cross project activities and technical delivery.

Interface with a wide variety of stakeholders within the business, including senior business leads, subject matter experts and users, internal IT and 3rd party implementers, strategic partners and product vendors.

The Person

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Experience of the automotive PLM space - direct experience of Jaguar Land Rover Product Development systems is a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of enterprise product cost management processes throughout the product life cycle, especially as applied to automotive products requiring complex effectivity management across features, parts, Bill of Items, and manufacturing implementation
- Working knowledge of the Enovia (or previously Matrix1) PLM system in an engineering context, and of SAP (especially SAP-PS functionality).
- Experience of deploying complex software within an engineering environment
- A good understand of process and Datamodelling techniques and tools
- High levels of competence in programme and project management
- Awareness of enterprise integration technologies, and PLM/ERP integration
