PLM Business Analyst, San Diego

A large Pharmaceutical Client is searching for a PLM Business Analyst to represent the Quality Assurance function in implementing Agile PLM.

Ongoing responsibilities

- Assist with the implementation of systems relative to product data, lifecycle management, project execution, process management and improvements within
- Assist/Lead Product Lifecycle Management implementation and sub-projects
- Formulate PLM related systems solutions to parallel overall business strategies.
- Investigate PLM related issues faced by users.
- Assist in developing and executing test specifications and test environments
- Review, analyze and evaluate business processes related to PLM systems and user needs.
- Responsible for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the implementation of new or revised solutions features and functionality.

Qualifications

Desired Skill Set

- BS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of JDE, SAP, Agile, and PLM systems
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
- Previous experience in project management and related tools/methodologies
- Strong preference to those with work experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated environment.
- Agile PLM Certified Implementation Specialist Certificate or similar preferred.
- Knowledge of hardware and experience with IT software delivery/deployment processes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision with a high degree of creativity and latitude owning and managing multiple projects.
- Broad knowledge of computer, networking and engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Good judgment to help plan and accomplish goals.
