IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Consistently applying plastics design and processing best practices
-Material and design definition for injection molded parts
-Uniform injection mold design and development
-Development of common parts portfolio and innovative concepts acc. Customer and JCI Spec.
-Applying the development tools Global CAD Tools, Global Design Checksheet, Global Tooling Standards
-Materials - Preferred JCI materials list and usage based on design needs, purchasing scale, process needs and customer specifications
-Process - Feeding material and tooling information to SMTEs for knowledge capture and process improvements
-BBP sharing of Injection molding know-how

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Bachelor of Science degree and technical experience in automotive product and process development, preferred in Thermoplastic Plastics technology
-Knowledge of product development processes from pre-quote through production
-In-depth knowledge of plastics design, tooling and manufacturing techniques and best practices.
-Ability to work closely with both Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing in developing and globally sharing best practices in plastics design and processing
-Experience in plastics injection mold tooling and processing preferred
-Understanding of and experience in applying Lean engineering skills like Tactical planning Requirements definition and application, SMTE engagement, drawing development from planning through final production, BEP Problem Solving methods - captured in A3 formats
-Supporting of teams or functions globally, NA, EU, Asia
-Good communication skills with national and international internal and external partner
-Good ability to set and achieve goals
