The Role: Plant operator
The Location: Walkden Manchester
,Contract length: 6 months
We are looking for a plant operator to safely control the filling activity at a fast moving but highly safety conscious depot, which includes operating electrical motors, running cryogenic and non-cryogenic pumps moving and coupling cylinders to fill points and loading onto pallets.
Usual duties/some training provided
* Cylinder inspection,cleaning and painting. Labelling and minor cylinder repairs
* Cylinder handling and loading of pallets, control the loading activity through use of Fork lift truck
* Complete process documentation as required
* Receive incoming product and check for conformity
Essential applicant qualifications and experience:
* Forklift truck licence
* Awareness and compliance with health and safety and hazardous work area directives
* Highly literate with an attention to detail
* Willingness for 3 shift working essential
