Plant Manager- Automotive

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Manager with extensive experience in the automotive industry.

A leading Tier 1 Automotive supplier based in theWest Midlandsnow has a requirement for a General Manager to take responsibility for a number of their sites. Due to acquiring a recent contract with a leading car manufacturer and massive growth plans in place, this is a very exciting time to join for the right individual.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing both short and long strategies for efficient operations and capital improvement, whilst being accountable for effective planning, delegating, coordinating and decision making to attain desirable profit making results

Reporting to the Managing Director you will take full P & L responsibility and financial planning with the aim to create a culture of high customer services. . Below are the key requirements to be considered...

² Minimum of ten years experience in a senior-management position. Automotive experience is essential.

² Effective planning, coordinating, directing, delegating, organizing, and decision making skills.

² Proven track record of delivering results with full profit and loss responsibility

² Experience within contract negotiation

² Have first-rate skills in understanding, creating and analysing financial reports or budgets.

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
