Plant Manager

One of the worlds most established names in the Automotive industry are looking to recruit a Plant Manager to help manage their operation and production processes for their west midland plant. As plant manager, you will be accountable for the achievement of the plant performance objectives and product quality, whilst monitoring the plants expenditures and budget. You will also be responsible for increasing productivity via a solid business plan and respond effectively to changing customer needs. You will be overseeing continuous improvement projects to ensure that safety, quality and productivity improve whilst driving manufacturing costs down. The successful candidate will be someone who has ideally worked for a Tier 1 Automotive company or someone who has experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment. Experience in implementing six sigma, lean, TS16949 and 1SO14001 is highly desirable. The package on offer is a basic salary of up to £50k, plus pension and 26 holidays.
