Planning Policy - Team Leader

This role has been released on a temporary basis initially for 6 months. They are looking for a team leader for the Planning Policy Team.

You will be expected to lead and manage a team of professionally qualified planners comprising between 6-15 officers in total. The team will comprise Team Leader, Principal Planning Officer, Senior Planning Officers and Planning Officers. The officers will concentrate on specific and diverse responsibilities, eg. Strategic planning, affordable housing, transport infrastructure.

You will need to be a professionally qualified planner ideally with experience working in planning policy within local government it would be advantageous if you had experience of the implementation of the LAA, the MAA and delivery of the Community Strategy.
