Planning Officer

We require two Planning Officers: 1x Junior - Rate: up to £20 per hr Ltd 1x Senior - Rate up to £23 per hr Ltd Full time. Car driver essential.

Job Description
We require two planning officers to come in and hit the ground running. Candidates will be requited to take on a high workload from day 1, therefore experience of high caseload is key.

Education/Qualifications
You will hold a relevant professional qualification preferably including membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute Additional qualifications in urban design or management would be desirable.

Experience/Knowledge
You will possess a considerable range of development control experience and skills, particularly the design and layout of housing development. You will have good professional planning judgement. You will be able to demonstrate a sound, organised and business like attitude to progressing applications efficiently and in conformity with established targets. Ability to progress planning applications efficiently and in a common sense manner, with sound professional judgement.
