Planning Lead - Aberdeen

Job Summary
Responsible for the delivery and management of the planning and risk review of all aspects of Enterprise Supply Chain Solutions (ESCS).
*Management of the interface between ESCS and integrated asset planning.
*To ensure the management of supply and operational risks, resulting in high performance and maximum value for the enterprise.
*Provide specialist advice and support to management and staff in all UK locations in respect of contracts portfolio integration.

Responsibilities
Technical/Functional:
*Provide a weekly and monthly integrated planning schedule providing support to the ESCS Management Team.
*Coordinate planning between the operational and projects group to identify synergies in procurement and contracting activity in these business areas from a scheduling perspective.
*Support of logistics in identifying and planning asset support activities.
*Have and interface with the integrated asset planning team to identify offshore activity and plan procurement activity appropriately.
*Support Partner engagement with forecasting workload and ad hoc requests.
*Lead, influence and contribute to other projects in support of all UK activities and manage activities effectively to achieve KPI and budget targets.
*Internally there are other projects that may require support in the areas of Business Improvement and Personnel development.
*Ensure that the Team Leads and relevant Managers for each area are bought into the planning approach taken.
*Contribute to the training, and competency programmes for ESCS team personnel in respect of planning and delivery.
*Provide relationship development, support and clarification to joint venture partners, industry forums and government bodies, as well as related approval processes and meetings as required in respect of planning.
*Act as a focal point for the business regarding any outstanding ESCS planning issues.
*Lead initiatives to enhance employee, contactor and supplier awareness of the role of the ESCS Planner and Company expectations in relation to legal and ethical standards and ensure the organisation's commercial reputation is highly regarded in the marketplace.
*Openly and proactively share knowledge.
*Take ownership for the continuous development of personal and technical expertise and knowledge

Previous Experience
*A self starter with extensive experience of Primavera and MSP.
*Extensive experience of implementing planning management and reporting practices.
*Extensive understanding of oil and gas operations, including the supply market, materials/services, and it's contracting principles and practices.
*Proven understanding of joint venture operations and the impact contractual commitments have on joint venture partners.
*Proven capability to successfully direct or negotiate, implement and manage high value/complex contract/service agreements.
*Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
*Ability to influence at a senior level.
*Proven ability to effectively motivate and manage a team.
*Assertiveness/Ability to articulate clearly.
*Numerate, analytical and logical.
*Good organisational skills.
*Effective relationship-builder at all levels, internally and externally.
*Process re-engineering and change management skills.
