Planning Engineer

- Work within pressure environment to deliver tenders within prescribed timescales.
- Manage a team to develop programmes which meet client delivery timescales.
- Experience of working within a Tendering environment.
- Management and analysis of risks, issues and dependences.
- Technical expert on Primavera P6 (Administrator Level) and other appropriate tools.
- Good communicator with an ability to explain programme logic and methodologies to Senior Management.
- Self motivated with sound interpersonal skills coupled with an assertive style of behaviour.
- Good attention to detail and good time management.
- Team Leadership or Management Experience.
- Good presentational skills.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to provide solutions to issues and adapt to business change.
- Strong communication skills when dealing with senior management and client.
- Experience or qualification in Project Management.

DESIRABLE

- Rail Industry experience.
- Engineering background.
- Working knowledge and experience of project management mythologies, eg Prince 2.
- Leadership/Management training.
