Planning Analyst

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planning Analyst to work for a Market leading utilities client in their prestigious Solihull location.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for managing the programme management policy and systems across multi discipline and multi organisation teams to enable a coordinated approach to programme development, tracking and reporting across European Business Development projects. Managing and Maintaining consolidated project plans for reporting progress against Customer requirements

Essential and Desirable experience:
Ideally candidates with strong communication skills and the ability to manage/engage with stakeholders across all levels. Critical Path Analysis and Key Milestone skills will be important.

Accountabilities:
*Support the development of programme management policy and systems used within projects for programme management.
*Working across multi organisational teams, responsible for managing a portfolio of projects that make up the overall programme to ensure that critical project constraints are identified, reported and managed accordingly
*Provide progress updates as required by each Project lead manager in accordance with work instructions and to create reports on cost and schedule.
*Produce and present standardised performance reports for Project Management Boards and key project stakeholders
*Identify key variances on the project programmes and present the data in the form of reports & graphs
*Provide critical path analysis, trend forecasts up to 3, 6 and 12 months look ahead and support to detailed cost and schedule reviews
*Provide prompt and accurate information to the Project Manager to facilitate the project/programme trend information
*Direct assistance to the Project Managers in the development of project programmes
*Liaise with sub contractors, collate progress information and update the project programme
