PLANNER - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - FRENCH OR DUTCH SPEAKING

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Planner.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES
The Planner will work on customer projects.
The Planner has a variety of duties and responsibilities:
- The Planner oversees the scheduling to production to ensure customer demands and requirements are able to be met.
- Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure proper scheduling of materials for production in accordance with customer demands and equipment availability.
- Acts as the primary contact for internal customers, ensuring proper communication of product and equipment status.
- Maintain IT system production schedules are accurate and up to date.
- Utilize capacity planning tools to effectively balance workload across multiple assets and processes.
- Manage plant planning workbenches for local manufacturing and material needed from other facilities.
- Initiates, coordinates and reconciles all cycle counts.
- Act as the point of contact for other departments and management.
- Ensure proper communication of production issues with appropriate departments.
- Direct and coordinate daily production meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree in related field or minimum 5 years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment with multiple production processes, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access) and It systems
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational and mathematical skills
- Strong understanding of scheduling concepts, practices, and procedures.
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively interact with all members of the organization and work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of cycle count and inventory control techniques
- Pro-active, showing initiative and sense of responsibility
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Result oriented and client focused
- Ability to learn client's software quickly.
