The role will be in an environment regulated by Trade Control legislation and involve working with controlled goods, technology and/or services. This may require your candidates to meet enhanced security and regular screening checks.

Specification
We currently have a long term contract opportunity for a Planning engineer to work on a variety of heavy engineering projects (including Marine, Oil & Gas and Nuclear) based in Rosyth

The Planner will report to the Planning Manager and is the focal point for all scheduling activities and functions within the project. Their principle task is to develop, maintain and monitor the Projects Single Integrated Schedule from initial bid through to contract close out, providing updates on a regular basis to the Project Manager and Customer

* Report Progress to the Project Manager & Customer

* Create 3rd Level Schedules to support project planning initiatives

* Provide critical path analysis & fixed period look ahead

* Identify the impact on the Project Schedule of changes to the work specification and inform the Project Manager

* Liaison with the Production groups to ensure that logical sequencing of the scheduled activities is maintained.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Experience as a Project Planner in a marine/heavy engineering sector

* P6 and IFS experience
