PL1 Mainframe Analyst Programmer - Dublin, PL1 Mainframe Analyst Programmer - Dublin
Our Client is currently conducting a major ramp-up to our Mainframe team for a large scale client banking project in Dublin city. Currently seeking a number of PL1 Programmers on long term contract or permanent basis.
Skills required as outlined below.
Responsibilities include:
Analysis of business requirements to produce detailed functional specifications.
Research and analysis of existing software components and business processes.
Analysis and design of changes for existing PL/1 software components.
Analysis and design for new Mainframe software components.
Completion of Technical specifications.
Ensuring relevant documentation is completed and maintained.
Developing and Unit testing PL/1 components. Integration testing.
Support of test teams during test phases of project.
Assisting in preparation and implementation of live system upgrades.
Candidates experience will preferably include some design/development in retail banking environments.
Development experience in IMS/DB2.
