PL1 Developer Contract Dublin 6-12 Months.
My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced PL1 (PL/1 Developer) to join them on a contract basis.
My client is expected that you will be technically strong in Mainframe coding including PL1, Cobol, Assembler, Rexx, Tablebase, XML, JCL
You will Design, evaluate, code, configure, test and document applications based on system and user requirements. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. You will also Prepares test data for unit, string and parallel testing and analyse business needs and creates defines software solutions including custom developed and off the shelf software.
Successful candidates will have worked with PL1 Mainframe development in ideally a finance or banking setting, and have 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
