PL/SQL Developer

For our customer we are looking for an experienced PL/SQL developer. This person will take a Lead Programmer role in a team with 2 PHP/SQL developers and will report to a project manager and to an architect.
Experience with PCI solutions is an advantage but not an absolute requirement.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our customer is forming a development team who will be responsible for building a new payment solution and improving the current products. The team will be small and agile, without rigid roles, which means that all members must be able to work cross-domain within the whole software stack. We understand that you may have more in-depth experience in one part of the stack, but you must be comfortable working with all areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain oracle database
- Engage in outside-the-box thinking to find solutions to our daily challenges
- Be actively involved in projects and motivated with innovative ideas
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You must have a familiarity with modern development methodologies & technologies, and an eagerness to learn about new things
You must have experience with the following:
-3+ years of Oracle,
-3+ years of PL/SQL programming,
-basics of oracle performance tuning,
- Ability to translate business rules into PL/SQL objects, extract business rules from analysis of existing PL/SQL
- Experience in developing and tuning complex PLSQL packages, including those that run as automated scheduled jobs
- Experience in creating, refactoring, and debugging PLSQL objects for optimal performance
- Experience in creating and maintaining PL/SQL objects that are consumed by web services and/or asynchronous stateless clients
PREFERRED:
Experience that is considered to be relevant, although not required include:
- PHP
- Javascript
- CSS
- HTML
- Bootstrap
- Smarty
- Automation & Shell Scripting
- Familiarity with TDD & Continuous Integration
- Experience with Linux and Shell Scripting
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- START: 15th of August
- DURATION: 3 + 3 month ongoing contracts (expected 1-2 years)
- DEADLINE: ASAP (July 27th )
