PL/SQL Developer

PL/SQL developer is being sought for global retail organisation. We are seeking an experienced, creative, qualified, and enthusiastic Database Developer to join a small development team looking at making a name for delivering innovative and quality solutions on time. Development projects within the Pricing Solutions team will be managed using agile concepts based on the Scrum framework. Experience working in a Scrum environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
Data modelling Design and implementation of complex database stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support system requirements. Database tuning XML data processing. Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases. Security and Disaster Recovery Assistance with QA and 3rd level support.

Qualification/Requirements:
Min. 5 years database development experience Data Modeling experience. Strong PL/SQL programming experience reading and processing XML file data. Familiar with the concepts of dynamic SQL (DML/DDL) and meta data. Ability to investigate, analyse & resolve system problems of a complex nature. Experienced working within a Scrum environment. Team player with excellent communication skills. You will be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and organizational skills.
