PL/SQL DEVELOPER

SKILLS:

PL/SQL, Oracle 10g, ETL, Exp. with reporting solutions or reporting tool such as Jasper or Pentaho a plus!

This is a 4 month contract opportunity with a premier University inside the perimeter! Opportunity for extension or possible permanent conversion depending on experience. The project will entail 100% database development in PL/SQL on Oracle 10g (moving to 12c in the near future). The initial project will be responsibile for building report solutions on data for process improvement and research. You will be collaborating with one other person on this initial engagement but part of a team focused on data, Business Intelligence as well as clinical research.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Five or more years of Oracle experience (10g, 11g) in database development using SQL, PL/SQL, Triggers, stored procedures and packages, and SQL tuning
- Experience with ETL processes
- Experience with Jasper a plus!
- Experience in designing and developing high volume transaction based systems.
- Highly-skilled in performance tuning and analysing query plans and query tuning, partitioning, and optimizer hints
- Three or more years of UNIX/Linux experience
