PkMS Senior Specialist

The WMS Implementation/Systems Manager will report directly to the Director and will architect and design WMS solutions, collaborate across different functional teams to support business objectives, and oversee internal and outsourced resources for analysis, development, testing, implementation, and go-live support of the WMS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver timely and cost effective IT solutions that meet business requirements
- Manage and control expense budget of managed project or enhancement
- Discuss and validate business requirements with customers and users in order to translate business requirements to functional solution specifications
- Advise or propose process improvement/re-engineering through the use of IT solutions
- Assist in solution design, configuration/development, and unit testing for new projects and enhancement requests
- Develop and oversee system integration testing
- Plan and coordinate with customers or users the project rollout or enhancement implementation
- Ensure application security, audit, and process compliance for systems in managed project, support, and enhancements

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have a strong hands-on knowledge of WMS applications and an understanding of Client Server and open systems architecture
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- 5-7 years' experience in WMS on-boarding
- 7-10 years within the transportation industry, information technology, or systems engineering
- 7-10 years' experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with exposure to complex landscape
- 5-7 years involved in business analysis, solution design and/or project management
- Experience developing project plans and implementation estimates for supply chain industry clients
- Expert communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Experience working with a multi-continent technical team preferred
- Spanish speaker a plus
