Piping Engineer

Projektbeschreibung

Immediate need for a Piping Engineer / Designer in St. Louis, MO for a 3+ month contract assignment with 5+ years of experience in Piping Design for a Refinery, Chemical Process and/or Chemical Manufacturing. Contract only, temp-to-perm and direct hire candidates encouraged to apply. Additional projects in the St. Louis and Chicago area are available at the end of this assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and review technical specifications, perform technical evaluations of bids for outsources projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and review 3-D design to ensure adherence with piping specifications.
- Prepare and transmit technical data to members of the project team.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years experience in Piping Engineering / Design for a Refinery, Chemical Process and/or Chemical Manufacturing
- Experience designing in 2-D and 3-D, minimum autocad 2009 or equivalent
- Ability to develop and review isometric drawings.
- Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3 standards.
