Piping Designer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PIPING DESIGNER to join our client in Charleston, WV.

Job Responsibilities:

- Piping Designer will be designing piping systems for industrial projects using PDMS (Plant Design Management System)
- Will be designing piping arrangements, component placement and portions of piping systems where modifications are being made to an existing piping arrangement
- The Piping Designer will gather information, perform calculations and prepare rough layouts and sketches
- May be performing field work (walkdowns) on an as needed basis
- User computer aided design equipment and graphic tools: PDMS

Job Qualifications:

- Candidate should have at least 7 years working as a piping designer
- Candidate should have a background performing piping design for one of the following industries: industrial, petrochemical, refinery, nuclear, mining and minerals, or power
- Must have a background using PDMS design software
- Should have knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation design platforms
