Projektbeschreibung
Piping Designer required for a 6 month contract assignment based in Grimstad, Norway.
The Project:
- Multi-discipline design of drill floor and substructure for semi submersible rigs and drill ship.
The role of Piping Designer will involve:
- Performing routing and designing of high pressure and low pressure systems in a multi discipline 3D model on drilling packages.
- Working with Bentley AutoPlant Piping, Autocad and NavisWorks Viewer.
The ideal candidate for the role of Piping Designer will have:
- Experience in design of high pressure and low pressure pipe systems used in the Oil & Gas industry including offshore platforms.
- Experience in 3D modelling and detail design of process and utility pipe systems in AutoPlant 3D CAD systems
- Experience with producing pipe isometric drawings extracted from AutoPlant 3D model
- Experience in producing bill of material and material, taking different basic information like P&Id's and 3D models
- Competence on relevant piping materials and fabrication specifications used in offshore installations (eg Norsok specifications)
- Fluent English skills
- Eligible to work Norway (EU Passport/Work Permit Holder)
