Pipe Support Checker - Oslo Area - 9 Months (Initial)

A GLOBAL ENERGY CLIENT OF MINE IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A PIPE SUPPORT CHECKER TO JOIN THEM ON A CONTRACT BASIS FOR AN INITIAL 9 MONTHS FOR AN ONSHORE PROJECT BASED IN NORWAY.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carrying out various piping activities and preparation of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on their appointed project
- Signing drawings and documents as originator/checker in accordance with correct procedures
- Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities etc
- Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and client and projects standards
- Correct interpretation and implementation of all piping CAD and system related functions in their appointed area

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor or Masters Degree in engineering
- 10+ years industry experience
- Previous experience on global projects within the Oil and Gas Industry
- Experience dealing with Piping for checking purposes
- Familiar with HSE/Quality standards
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
