Position - Pipe Fabricator

Job Description
Manufacture and install pipe work systems and associated equipment.

Additional Information
Must be willing to work as part of a team and prepared to work shifts, evenings and weekends if required to do so by the business.

Responsibilities
Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
Follow relevant instructions, drawings and any other Quality Standards and Specifications.
Use appropriate methods and techniques to fabricate, assemble, install pipe and maintain work systems and associated components.
Check the completed activity to ensure all operations have been completed to meet the required Quality Standards and Specification.
Use associated tools and equipment safely and effectively.

The Individual
Time-served Plumber, Coppersmith or Pipe Fabricator.
C & G Level 3 or equivalent.
NVQ L3 (dependent on time-served date).
Demonstrate experience in fitting both small and large bore pipe systems.
Demonstrate experience in Argon purging of pipe systems.
Relevant Submarine/Shipbuilding trade experience.
