Our services include nursing, Occupational Health and wider range of therapies within the community hospitals and specialist centres.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Ipswich division of Suffolk Community Healthcare to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract basis. The successful applicant should be motivated, flexible and committed to working in an ever changing environment. The Band 6 Therapist will manage a caseload of patients with multiple and complex needs, using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. Previous experience as a community Physiotherapist is desirable. Working in a multi-disciplinary team your role will involve supporting urgent, admission prevention work but also support patients with longer term rehabilitation needs.

Essential Skills:

* Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy
* Health Professions Council Registration
* Experience of working with adults with physical disabilities / a community rehabilitation setting.
* A knowledge of primary and community services
* Experience of working with a range of primary and community services including Health,
* Social Care Services and the independent Sector.
* Proven post registration experience within a multi-disciplinary service
* Must be a car driver as you will be required to cover Ipswich
