PHP/Drupal Developer - The Netherlands

Languages: ENGLISH only

Skills and experience:

-At least 6 years developing web applications with PHP (5.3)
-At least 4 years of experience with Drupal, including installation and configuration (setting up databases, clean URLs, installing modules, etc.)
-Minimum a total of 3 years of relevant studies and/or experience after the secondary school.
-Good expertise with GIT and SVN
-At least 8 years of IT experience
-GIS experience will be a big plus
-In depth knowledge of application development environments
-Knowledge of software development methodologies (eg RUP, AGILE)
-Knowledge of relational database systems
-Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
-Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication in English as main working language
-Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self- starting capability and experience in working in team

Description of work:

-Development and maintenance of software applications
-Development and integration of technological components
-Implementation of user requirements
-Elaboration of test programs
-Integration with other applications
-Writing of technical documentation
-Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
-Participation in meetings with the project teams
