PHP Developer (Front End/Back End/Full Stack)

My client are a leading organisation within the Gambling industry and are currently on the look out for multiple PHP Developers to join them on a contractual or permanent basis. I'm looking for Front End or Back End or full stack PHP developers to join their team of developers.

- Person will be part of a team of about 20 onsite developers, Front End as well as Back End and fullstack;
- Development of new functionalities for existing web applications and responsible for the continiuous optimisation of these apps.
- Closely involved in the complete life cycle of these projects, starting with prototyping and evolving towards the development of front-ends
- You collaborate in a pro-active way with graphical designers and Back End developers to evaluate the quality and realisation rate of your developments. This means the person a playing a key role in maintaining the high standards of the apps.
- Responsible for translating business analysis to attractive functionalities on the website while keeping on eye on aspects such as UX and performance.
- You use technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and Less for writing high performance codes.
- Zend, Symfony 2 & 3: by your knowledge on these frameworks you can have an added value to an ambitious reengineering project where we will transfer from Zend to Symfony in a microservices architecture.
- You have a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript. With regards to projectmanagement skills, your knowledgeable on Scrum, Kanban and/or similar methodologies. You are familiar with the complete Atlassian-package (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, ) and have experinces with Unit Testing & Integration Testing. You have experience with databasemanagement (eg MySQL) & Scripting.
- You act as expert in Responsive and adaptive webdesign
- You act as expert in PHP-templating (Twig) and are able to apply your knowledge on Information Architecture methodologies
- You ideally have a furst experience in React.
- You are continuouslu seeking for information on the latest trends and technological developments in the sector and share your findings with the colleagues.
- Analytical mindset, customer focuses, fluent in English, teamplayer, know how to deal with ambiguity and happy to work in a fast changing environment. Affinity with the world of gaming and gambling is no necessity.
