PHP Developer

Recruiting for experienced PHP Developers with commercial experience preferably at enterprise level. This contract is an initial 6 months with a high possibility of extension past the initial 6 months.

Key Requirements:

* Experience developing object-oriented PHP code for database-backed websites
* Excellent working knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, JS, JQuery
* Experience with responsive designs
* Familiar with a library like: JQuery, Prototype, YUI, etc.
* Understands cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues and constraints.
* Experience working with web APIs, JSON, XML
* Knowledge of SQL
* Experience with a version control system.
* Demonstrable understanding of web application security practices and experience in developing secure web applications
* Experience/knowledge of testing
* Good knowledge of different browsers would be an advantage- IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera etc.
* Experience in developing websites or web applications for mobile devices also an advantage
