PHP Developer

My Dublin City based client has an immediate requirement for a Strong PHP Developer to join their team on a short term contract basis for a specific piece of work. We are ideally looking for a Developer who is immediately available

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Developer to work with us to migrate content from a current website to a Vanilla installation of WordPress.

While the current site is a proprietary build, the database schema (MySQL) is relatively straightforward and what they need migrated is:

- User data
- Stories
- Categories
- Tags
- Media (videos, images)
- Gallery data (current image references will be mapped to an Advanced Custom Fields Gallery widget)
- Certain document types on existing site will need to map to certain template types on new WordPress Back End

We are looking for a Candidate who has an in-depth knowledge of core WordPress development as stories from the current site will need to be mapped to posts on the new Back End, images and media files will need to be mapped to WordPress media/attachments, etc. The new space will be hosted with Rackspace using an Akamai CDN so previous experience working with a CDN API would probably be beneficial.
