Senior PHP Developer

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a qualified Senior PHP developer to design, build and support of business applications for the institute. The person must have web-application development experience in PHP, MySQL, Oracle and other web technologies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and implementation of web based solutions using PHP to meet application needs
- Understand end user requirements and translate to design, code and implementation.
- Provide mentoring to other team members on PHP based architecture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Education: B.S. in Computer Science or related

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- 5+ years' experience developing web application in with PHP; Experience with Drupal will be a plus.
- Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript (including jQuery); Comfortable working in the LAMP stack. Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and programming

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- SKILLS: Familiarity with Drupal, SugarCRM, user interface development and mobile web application development.
