PHP/BI/Developer/Cork/Ireland

Huntress Group are currently looking for PHP/BI developer for a 12 month contract in County Cork Ireland. The role is a pure 50/50 split between traditional web development in PHP and also BI development and analysis tools also. The skills are as follows below and please apply online or call Mark.Web Development in PHP, preferably including knowledge of CodeIgniter, Zend or Symfony MVC Framework Technology. Advanced Database & SQL Skills with specific knowledge of MySQL query optimisation and tuning. Ability to analyse and operate on very large data sets (10 Million plus rows) to aggregate and group data for consumption by BI tools. Unix Shell Scripting in Tcsh or Bash shells. Dynamic web page development using DHTML, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax and knowledge of JScript libraries such as Angular JS.Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality control. Data warehouse architecture considerations and design patterns such as OLAP, ROLAP. Knowledge of ORM technology such as Doctrine. Integration testing and Unit Testing to ensure solution is ready for UAT handover.Knowledge of analytics and data visualisation software such as Tableau. SAS Visual Analytics Knowledge or SAS Programmer Certification an advantage.Knowledge of ETL tools and concepts. Knowledge of Business Objects. Ability and willingness to learn quickly, attentive listener and excellent communicator. Ability to 'shift gears' quickly and balance multiple priorities.
