Phone Triage Registered Nurse Job

PEDIATRIC PHONE TRIAGE REGISTERED NURSE needed for CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Menlo Park, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Phone Triage Nursing Experience
- Pediatric Experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Implement nursing processes for an assigned group of patients and provide quality patient care in the Pediatrics department
- Provide telephone advice and triage patients per protocol, assist physicians in medical procedures, while maintaining safety and infection protocols
- Effectively manage patient care by utilizing the electronic medical record system
- Perform other duties assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current California RN license
- CPR certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatric setting
- Working knowledge of EPIC highly preferred
- Phone triage experience is a plus!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate courtesy, compassion and helpfulness in a professional manner towards employees, patients and patient families
- Computer and Microsoft Office Application Skills
