Phase Manager - Tetra Radio Network Rollout

ZONE MANAGER - RADIO NETWORK ROLLOUT

MAIN OBJECTIVE

Responsible for all site roll out activities in the zone.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

- Follow up and push progress of a limited number of sites from Radio planning through Site acquisition, Design, Civil Works to integration
- Know all about the sites they manage
- Solve issues that blocks progress
- Manage subcontractors and approve budgets, Designs and quality of work in the field
- Implement (support and advice Motorola in defining) project processes, procedures and guidelines (for Project Management, Site Acquisition, Construction Works, Telecom Implementation) in the specific Phase
- Ensure that the BTS site network build forecasts, plans and schedules comply with the TETRA Project roll out schedule in close consultation with the Customer and all stakeholders
- Estimate and analyze gaps in the Phase level network build schedule and lead times
- Routine communication with Customer team in network builds progress (and technical matters together with functional managers)
- Follow up and escalation of action points based on meeting minutes
- Plan and organize information flow and communication within the Phase BTS Network build Team to ensure coordination and clear understanding about the share of responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage activities in the BTS Site Acquisition, Construction Works and Telecom Implementation network build on Phase level
- Ensure that the CW and TI Materials and Equipment demand plan correlates to the Phase site network build forecast
- Forecast, identify, analyze, qualify, quantify and respond to possible risks in the phase implementation with lists of preventive actions
- Inform the Roll Out Network Manager about all identified risk items in the phase and what actions have been and/or will be taken to eliminate them
- Prepare and secure all required BTS Phase network build related documentation.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Must have worked at site level in large rollouts of telecom networks
- Experience from managing subcontractors in rollouts
- Experience in building sites and/or approving subcontractors quality in the field
- Must write and speak English
