Pharmacy Technician Job

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WARRENDALE, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- One (1) year of experience
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
- Experience in a retail/Specialty pharmacy setting

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

- Data entry of prescriptions filled out by the MDO into the patient's profile
- Enter patient's allergies and current medications into the patient profile history
- Verifies all information is complete on the Rx and all necessary information is entered on the patient's profile
- Follows all necessary guidelines to ensure laws and regulations are followed
- Vary work duties according to business needs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School diploma or GED with previous data entry experience
- Excellent phone etiquette skills and ability to interact professionally with others

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- CPHT Certification through PTCB preferred
- Ability and willingness to independently obtain PTCB certification within 90 day temp period prior to converting to permanent position
