Pharmacy Specialist Job

PHARMACY SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portland, OR.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assist members and their providers by providing excellent clerical and customer service support.
- Be a primary point of contact for members, members' representatives, providers, and pharmacies for the pharmacy benefit and claims payment process.
- Facilitating prior authorizations and appeals & grievances.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of experience working in Managed Care or Retail Pharmacy.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Health Plan concepts.
- Detail oriented and able to work in fast paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Experience working in Retail Pharmacy or Managed Care Environment.
- Knowledge of Managed Care and Medicare concepts.
