Our global Pharmaceutical client is looking for a Pharmacovigilance Officer to join their team on 12 months daily paid contract.

Job Function:

To fulfil legal requirements in reporting Adverse Events and Product Complaints from local and overseas markets to the local authorities.

Key accountabilities:

*Record and report Adverse Event and Product Complaint data to meet regulatory and Company requirements, including case processing and requests for follow up information.
*Other support of drug safety activities including scanning and archiving, completing necessary forms.
*Review of foreign cases and reporting to the MHRA, IMB and EMA, as required
*Perform monthly reconciliations
*Monitoring the PV inbox and handling and escalating emails received as appropriate
*Provide cover, guidance and assistance for the Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance Administrator, as required.

Qualifications

*Pharmacy or science degree.

Experience

*At least six months experience in pharmacovigilance in the pharmaceutical industry

*Experience of ARISg ideally.

Knowledge

*Basic knowledge of global safety and regulatory requirements.
