Pharmaceutical Product Specialist (Regulatory)

OUR PHARMACEUTICAL CLIENT REQUIRE A PRODUCT SPECIALIST TO WORK WITHIN THEIR REGULATORY DOMAIN, SUPPORTING APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES CRITICAL TO THE SUCCESS OF R&D, THROUGH SERVICE DELIVERY AND/OR APPLICATION SUPPORT AND CHANGE.

THE CONTRACT WILL BE 6 MONTHS INITIALLY, WITH AN EXPECTATION TO EXTEND.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Use differentiated knowledge of Products and/or technologies to deliver a responsive service to R&D in support of a specific expert services or enhanced applications, underpinning the role of Product Managers
- Provides input to improve the quality of the service and may carry out changes to the service under their direction
- Work effectively with suppliers in service delivery for R&D systems
- Participate in change projects to act as a Subject Matter Expert, deliver application or service changes, or support roll-outs
- Participate in system testing in conjunction with Quality Specialist

Provide differentiated user support which includes one or all of:

- answering how to questions
- problem analysis and documented resolution
- software documentation
- security management
- database maintenance
- specialised training not handled by 3rd party support organisations or key users

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Knowledge of how regulatory dossiers have to be submitted to authorities
- Experience working with regulatory applications and stakeholders
- Experience working with third party suppliers to resolve issues with clinical or regulatory systems
- Good working knowledge of one or more existing Products in R&D and a deep knowledge and technical skills in one or more technologies, differentiated applications or services.
- A grasp of the culture and working practices of both IS and R&D stakeholders and an understanding of the value R&D gain from the using Information Technology Critical experience
- Previous direct experience in a customer focused service or application development and delivery role (or can show understanding of the needs and demands of such a role).
