Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Project Engineer - Liverpool - 6 months

Design and initiate processes for manufacturing of chemicals and related products relative to assigned area. Ensure a safe working environment by following safety rules and helping improve the safety culture. Perform process engineering responsibilities within a pharmaceutical environment. Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve difficult equipment and/or operational problems. Compose experimental procedures relative to the assigned area. Perform project management activities including, but not limited to: project schedules, validation documents, and flow documents. Assist in overall compliance to local and governmental guidelines (eg, FDA and GMP) and protocolrelative to the assigned area.

The primary purpose of the Project Engineer role is to lead multi-discipline capital projects normally ranging in value from £50K to £2M through all project delivery stages from initial development to final completion and handover. It is intended that the selected individual will lead Process Equipment related projects in a manufacturing environment although they should be able to manage projects outside their core discipline with appropriate discipline support. It would be an advantage to have experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing but equivalent experience in the chemical or a process related industry could be equally appropriate.
