Person in Charge (PIC)

Link Technologies is currently seeking a Person In Charge for contract work in Aiken, SC.

DUTIES:
Perform duties as a Person In Charge (PIC) within the Tank Farms/ETP Integration organization at the client site. Individual will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a High Risk Activity and/or non-routine/complex work activity, as applicable, are properly integrated to meet the Facility Manager's expectations for Integrated Safety Management, scheduling, command and control at the work site, and procedural/RWP/Work package compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Candidate must have a High School Diploma and five (5) years of work experience as a Person in Charge (PIC) with a total of Twenty (20) years in the nuclear field.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Practical experience with work control process (ie, development, review, approval, issue execution and close-out of work control packages and associated lockouts).
- Practical experience with the development and execution of facility schedules
- Practical experience as a Person in Charge with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of that position.
- Ability to problem solve and identify options for completing assigned task.
- Positive working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Previously qualified with the ability to obtain Radiation Worker
- Training II qualifications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DOE, site and client operating policies, rules and regulations is beneficial.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Word and Asset Suite

WORK HOURS:

- A 40 hour work week is scheduled. Client utilizes various work schedules;
- 4/10s (10hrs/day; four days a week) 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days a week) and 9/80s (9 hours/5 days on week A and 4 days on week B.) Occasional overtime may be required based on the scope and duration of the specific task.

Vehicle
Vehicle is required to travel between the site areas encompassed by the job's responsibilities. Note: A Government Vehicle may be available for use in that travel.
