Permit to Work Coordinator (PTWC)

A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Permit to Work Coordinator (PTWC) to work for approximately 13 months on a freelance contract basis. The Coordinator will work at the construction site for the future offshore wind farm in the North East UK.
Reports to: Lead Offshore Site Manager
Conditions: Work pattern: 5-6 days a week, 8-10 hours per day

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the PTW procedure, including interfaces
Day to day management of the PTW procedure
Review all incoming Permit Requests
Help plan, issue and control all requested permits
Participate in the Daily Marine Coordination Meeting
Control the daily active PTW Matrix
Maintainas well as full familiarity with CDM requirements.

Required training:
Sea Farers Offshore Medical
One Day First Aid Course
Firefighting course
Sea survival and transfer training
Climbing and Rescue at heights training
Confined Space training
VLF Testing training or experience
OTDR testing training or experience

All training shall be in accordance with GWO standards.

Special Provision:

The successful candidate must bring his/her own PC with Microsoft Office 2007 software, a mobile telephone plus own PPE for working offshore. The Client will provide access to their systems.
