Huxley Associates is currently working with a leading Software House based in central Edinburgh in the recruitment of an experienced Permanent Web Developer. My client specialise in the development of software solutions for financial organisations.

My client is looking for a candidate to join their team on a permanent basis with a solid background in web development to be involved in both the creation of new websites and the maintenance of existing applications. This position will enable the candidate to be heavily involved in the presentation of the websites, liaising closely with graphic designers.

You will have at solid commercial experience in web development specifically focusing on:

* Development of websites targeting both desktop and mobile devices
* Excellent knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, HTML
* JQuery
* Knowledge of RDBMS
* XSLT
* Development experience with PHP
* HTML email development and deployment

Additionally, although not a necessity you will have experience in the use of Graphic Design programmes such as Photoshop, Illustrator and GIMP as well as knowledge and commercial experience in ASP.NET.
