Perm - Marine Project Manager. Salary DOE

Permanent Marine Project Manager - Excellent Salary. DOE I am currently working with a leading marine equipment company in the recruitment of a Project Manager to join the team in theAberdeenoffice on a permanent basis. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing projects from conception through to execution. You will ensure the completion of the design, procurement, fabrication and installation of the diving equipment on schedule and within approved budget guidelines. You will ensure that your team meet specific client requirements defined in the project design and execution plan. As well as this you must also ensure that all diving equipment and diving systems meet the requirement s of the Classification Society and are delivered with required certificates. Day to day duties include: - Identify shortfalls in project resourcing - Attend resource and planning meetings - Monitoring the project expenditure and ensure that this fits in the pre-defined target costs - Involvement in selecting key personnel to join projects and managing adhoc personnel - Liaising with clients - Ensure that all activities undertaken are in compliance with HSE requirements Essential Skills: - Degree or at a minimum HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic engineering - Extensive marine industry experience - Extensive Project Management Experience - Proven track record of delivering multi million pound contracts Desirable Skills: - Experiences in saturation diving systems or sub systems - Experience in Prince 2 project Management principles If you are interested in this position please apply with you up to date CV or call Jennifer Carter on 0131 243 4044
