Perl & Shellscripting Expert

Our client, a major Financial Services company, is currently looking for an experienced Application Developer with strong knowledge of Unix, Oracle, IBM MQ, SVN, Java.

SCOPE OF WORK:

- Develop and understand Shell Scripts, Perl scripts to maintain the non-prod environment.
- Develop and understand Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Scripting
- Experience with Murex Infrastructure activities, running EOD Batches, DB Archiving
- Understanding with Infrastructure Procurement process, gathering data for reporting system slowness/identify low performing process
- Co-ordination with Oracle DBA's, Unix Admins on issues encountered during day-to-day activities and short-term/long-term improvements

SKILLS:

- Good in communication, interpersonal skills and very good team player
- Experienced in Financial Industry is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL is a plus.
- Education: Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology
- experience: 5 to 7 years' experience in Environment Management
- systems/programming languages/databases: Unix, Oracle, IBM MQ, SVN, Java
- languages: English, German is not mandatory but a plus
- social skills: Interpersonal skills that keeps him/her cool at stressful scenarios
