Perl Developer/Analyst Job

Yoh has a contract to hire offer for a PERL DEVELOPER/ANALYST to support our client in St. Louis, MO.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop into a lead analyst/developer with emphasis on technical issues.
- Woks in a team environment developing detailed specifications outlining programming requirements.
- Analysis, design, and implementation of information system solutions using development methodology.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains these programs (Perl primarily).
- Participates in technical design sessions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Three (3) plus years PERL (required)
- Five (5) plus years development experience (full life cycle) (required)
- Good understanding of object-oriented concepts (required) (Hands on experience with either Java or C++ a plus)
- Three (3) plus years SQL Server database and SQL Queries (required)
- Three (3) plus years AIX or similar UNIX experience (required)
- Solid background of requirements gathering, analysis and design (required)
- Five (5) plus years application integration experience (required)
- Experience with Applications Upgrades (required), Data Conversions (required) and Performance Monitoring (required)
- Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Experience working with Vended Products and technical coordination with Vendors is a plus
- Understanding of Hospital Registration process is a plus
- Knowledge of Master Person Index applications or Initiate is a plus
- (HL7 experience is a plus)
