PERL DEVELOPER - 6 - 12 MONTHS - EUROS 65 - 70 PER HOUR - AMSTERDAM

Mission: Self-motivated Perl Developer to join a team that believe in high code quality, unit tests, code reviews and creating great, clean, re-usable code.

You will be working on a portfolio of tools, creating new functionality and adding value to the #1 website and App in their market.

The application platform is Perl based, built with Agile product development life cycle supporting apps and a web Front End.

Key activities include:

- Write stable, testable, high performing and scalable code
- Write unit and integration tests
- Perform code reviews
- User stories
- Profile and benchmark code
- Collaborate on technical design of new features
- Analyse product requirements, create test scenarios and implement test automation.

Job Requirements

- Experience in OO programming in Perl.
- Experience with working in an Agile environment
- Perl programmer. Experience with Moose, Catalyst, and MOD Perl are a plus
- Experience with MySQL, Apache, Selenium WebDriver
- Excellent mastery of English (written and spoken) and preferably Dutch and/or French.
