Perfumer Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare samples for evaluation purposes and submissions to clients.
- Ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Prepare samples to run relevant stability tests.
- Manage the stability evaluation sessions, including validation, distribution of data, and data entry.
- Register client bases in the computer database.
- Maintain the stocks and equipment.
- Master basic mathematical concepts and operations.
- Maintain proactive communication with management.
- May perform some non-routine operations requiring the use of more complex or specialized techniques, instruments, and equipment.
- Key interfaces with Technical Development, Fragrance Development Managers, Perfumers, Perfumers' assistants, commercial assistants.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Typically requires HS diploma or equivalent.
- Related work experience or experience in the fragrance industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and internal customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated team player.
- IS proficiency.
- Must be able to coordinate and provide information to sales and other internal departments.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Knowledge of chemistry with ability to provide technical support related to perfumes' stability and trouble-shooting.
